Over the past weeks, there has been concern surrounding the late & missing payments from the Town of Bridgewater to the B-R School District. The following summarizes the most recent bills due:
$159,180 - 7/1/06: Town Mtg vote (5/1/06) for Special Legislation to pay Williams modular building costs from Town Capital Project Acct. Rep. Flynn sent letter December 2008 that State had passed legislation to allow this payment. 3/2/09 B-R received $50,000 with note saying balance will be paid in FY2010.
$981,860 - 1/15/09: Scheduled debt payment for school project. Full payment received 2/23/09, 39 days after due date.
$1,665,881.42 - 2/1/09: Scheduled monthly assessment. $1,000,000 received on 3/6/09, 33 days after due date. Balance of $665,881.42 said to be forthcoming.
$159,896 - 2/15/09: Scheduled debt payment for school project. Full payment received 3/2/09, 15 days after due date.
$60,684.38 - 3/1/09: Scheduled debt payment for school project. Full payment received 3/9/09, 8 days after due date.
$1,665,881.42 - 3/1/09: Scheduled monthly assessment. Payment said to be forthcoming.
As of today, 3/10/09, Bridgewater is behind on $2,440,942.84 in payments to the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District.
