November 7, Upcoming Debate on Couter-Recruitment for November 12 at B-R High
The B-R High School Civics Club will be hosting a debate on Wedneday night, 7pm, at the B-R High School Auditorium on Couner-Recruitment.  The two panelists are Ray Ajemian and Joseph Gillis, Jr.
Participants:
   Ray Ajemian and his wife Cris have been residents of Bridgewater for third-four years.  They have two children, Peter and Ani, who have both gone through the Bridgewater schools. Mr. Ajemian has a Bachelors and Masters Degrees in history from the University of Michigan.  After two years in the Army, he taught for fifteen years in the Taunton and Dartmouth public school systems, and then worked eighteen years in the financial services field in Boston.  Mr. Ajemian is currently semi-retired, and teaches part-time at Massasoit Community College and Bristol Community College.
   Mr. Ajemian served on the Bridgewater School Committee and the Bridgewater Planning Board. He is currently serving on the Bridgewater Improvement Association and the Bridgewater Open Space Committee.
   Joseph Gillis, Jr., is a fourteen year resident of Bridgewater.  Married to Linda, they have two children – Kerrin (B-R High School) and Matthew (Williams Intermediate School).  Mr. Gillis is currently a senior systems programmer, and has been in the technology field for twenty-five years.
   Mr. Gillis is in his second term on the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School Committee, and serves on the MASC (Massachusetts Association of School Committees) Regional Schools Committee.  Mr. Gillis completed the 2006 Massachusetts Senate Citizens Legislative Seminar, served on the Massachusetts Department of Education Advisory Council for Gifted & Talented Education, and was the MASC designee to the Massachusetts Legislative Special Commission on After School and Out of School Time
   Please note that Mr. Gillis is taking part as a private citizen, and is not representing the B-R School Committee.
