My own responses showed a corrolary with John McCain at 48%, Ron Paul 35%, Barack Obama 15%, Hillary Clinton 13%.  For me, no real surprise that my views most closely matched those of John McCain than anyone else - I would have said it even without the program results.  What I did find intriguing is the fact that I match up with John McCain the best by a good margin, but still at only about "half".
There are similar situations with every political race - (MA Governor) Patrick vs. Healey 15 months ago, (Bridgewater Selectmen)  Marybeth Lawton vs. Chris Flynn a year ago, and the "Battle of the M's for Bridgewater Selectmen" this year.  Marilee Kenney-Hunt & Mark Oliari & Mike Demos are all vying for our votes to help guide Bridgewater for the next three years.  While I am not aware of an easy or fun program to match up each of their beliefs on key issues, it is possible to make an informed decision for April 26th.  Go back over the past few years and read their words and see their actions - it is then that you will be able to pick someone from the three who matches best with your own priorities.  100% is out of the question; in fact you may find like I did in the Presidential Matchmaker program, that the best person will only be at 50% -- but that 50% is much higher than anyone else and therefore deserves your support.
