| November 13, Actions from Bridgewater's Special Town Meeting About 400 people were present at the opening of Town Meeting. By the end, only about 65 people were still left. Makes one wonder about the continued use of our Town Meeting form of government! (a) Article 1: Waterford Village 40R zoning passed. (b) Article 8: Government Study was amended from the floor. The Article was changed to now have seven citizens at-large serve on the Committee. One to be appointed by the Board of Selectmen, one by the Advisory Board, one by the Municipal Administrator, one by the B-R School Committee, and three by the Town Moderator. The amendment passed, and the Article passed. Interested citizens should submit a letter of intent to the Town Clerk as soon as possible. The deadline date has not yet been set. A cross-section of people are desired for the Committee |
