de-Regionalize B-R Schools

There has been some discussion since the Bridgewater Selectmen's vote to have an Article to deregionalize Bridgewater-Raynham's PreK-8 grades. One proposal, that appears to be getting some serious consideration is for the CBB (Citizens for Better Bridgewater) to sponsor a discussion on Wednesday November 7th. Names being circulated as possible attendees include: Stan Kravitz, Mark Oliari, Chris Flynn and Marybeth Lawton (representing the deregionalizaion YES argument); and Marilee Hunt, Ken Mahtesian, Mike Demos and Joe Gillis (representing the deregionaization NO argument).
Stay tuned for more on this potential debate/discussion. At present, it is the only known discussion on the merits of the arguments. The Selectmen, while bringing forth this dramatic argument, did not schedule any forums or discussions to details facts and information to the citizens.
