Someone had commented to me that the 8th grade scores from spring 2007 showed some extraordinary performance levels. So, I spent some time downloading and reading through the data, and in fact there was some very good news. I combined the Advanced and Proficient (A&P) scoring for our two 8th grade classes, and then set these scores against the State; a total of 461 schools reporting.
In fact, William Middle School 8th graders were in the top 11% of the State for Science
Williams Middle (Bridgewater) had 86% A&P in ELA (english), tied 147th.
Raynham Middle had 76% A&P in ELA, tied for 271st.
Williams Middle had 52% A&P in Math, tied for 170th.
Raynham Middle had 47% A&P in Math, tied for 217th.
Williams Middle had 57% A&P in Science, tied for 49th.
Raynham Middle had 38% A&P in Science, tied for 171st.
