September 29, Citizens for Fiscal Responsibility website back active; but serving what purpose?

After shutting down upon the conclusion of the override question, the CFR group is back up with their website.  However, where do they get this stuff?  A quote - "This is a result of the Selectman changing the meeting date and time to Tuesday, October 9th at 6:30pm. They were forced to do so when the School District was unwilling to adjust schedules in order to make space available on a Saturday." At no point am I aware that the Selectmen requested that the School Committee adjust anything.  After the Selectmen set the date and time, the Town inquired of the school for access.  They were told that there are multiple scheduled events taking place in and around the school.  There was no request from B-R to the Selectmen not to use the gym.  The Town became concerned about parking (and scheduling a meeting on a holiday weekend?).   The Town Selectmen chose to move the date.  Perhaps someday the Selectmen might think ahead and inquire about availability prior to announcing something?  I doubt it, but one can hope.
It is good that the CFR group wants to be engaged in the process.  Perhaps in the future they might inquire for facts?  I have answered their questions before.  Or maybe some are not concerned with fact, only their versions.
