I hope that everyone takes a moment to remember the events of six years ago today. Often, days of remembrance fade from memory, or become a reason for "Great deals on wheels, come on down!" or for a state employee holiday. How many people still think about December 7, 1941? Will September 11, 2001 also fade from memory?
While many argue about the War, and our armed forces serving overseas, perhaps people are quick to forget that our foreign efforts (military and intelligence) have prevented any additional attacks since that fateful day.
So, take a moment and think about those who lost their lives on 9/11, the servicemen and women who have lost their lives, and all of the Americans stationed overseas to protect our country.
