A Special Commission was started this spring to look at many aspects related to After School programs, including programs specifically tailored to Extended Learning Time. (Public Disclosure - I am a member of this Commission.) A few Public Hearings have already taken place already, and the next scheduled Hearing will be on Tursday July 19th at University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth from 5-8pm {click here to link to hearings info}. At the Hearings, citizens and groups can provide details on successful programs and/or provide suggestions/feedback to the Committee.
