In Bridgewater, Tuesday's Selectmen Meeting and Special Town Meeting included limited comments concerning funding for Bridgewater-Raynham Schools. The discussion will continue at 6:30 pm on Wednesday 7/11 at the Senior Center. There may be a call for a Special Town Meeting, a new Override vote, or ???
In Raynham, the Selectmen voted to put a couple of articles on an upcoming Special Town Meeting (scheduled for July 30th) warrant related to Bridgewater-Raynham Schools. One is a clean-up article to adjust the Town's assessment to match Bridgewater's proportional share from Bridgewater's Annual Town Meeting. The second is to vote on gifting $874,351 to Bridgewater-Raynham for Raynham's share of K-8 school costs.
