At last night's B-R School Committee Meeting, the Administrative Study Committee (appointed at the Feb School Comm. Meeting) after several meetings and discussions, unanimously recommended that:
1) George Guasconi be selected as the next Superintendent, for a one-year term
2) Authorization be given to RFP for a consultant to advise on the long-range planning needed to find the following Superintendent. A consultant may advise on issues such as: community forums, community input, timelines, etc.
3) That if the previous two recomendations are voted, that the process begin to find a replacement for the business, administrative and operational responsibilities George currently does.
The recommendations were accepted by the full school committee, with unanimous votes from the committee.
