You can do something!
November 23, Thanksgiving Day and time to remember those less fortunate

At this time of year, it important to think of the benefits we have and those who may be having a more difficult time.  With that in mind, please think about the following:

Bridgewater Festival of Lights
http://www.bridgewaterfestivaloflights.com/
Dale Higgins, Bob Smith and a large crew of elves work to decorate a house on Alexander Drive with a special set of displays and lights.  The event is put on by Star Light Charities, with funds raised going to help local Lions groups, Toys-For-Tots, and many other community organizations.  Stop by, enjoy the lights and music, say hello to your neighbors, and perhaps leave a little jingle in the collection jar for those less fortunate.

Bridgewater Food Pantry
http://www.bridgewaterma.org/Government/FoodPantry.shtml
Please bring your canned goods to the Academy Building at 66 Central Square.  (Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-1pm)  The food pantry is overseen by the Board of Health located on the first floor of the Academy Building at 66 Central Square.  Please  call the office at 508-697-0903 if you need assistance or have questions about this program.

The Operation Santa Program is again underway to assist the needy families of Bridgewater with toys and clothing for Christmas. This program has been in existence for well over 20 years and is totally funded from donations from throughout the Bridgewater community.
Anyone wishing to donate new toys may do so by dropping them off at the Bridgewater Fire Department. Anyone wishing to make a donation may do so by making checks payable to “Operation Santa” and dropping them off at the Town Clerk’s Office or mailing them to:
     Operation Santa
     General Delivery

Applications for assistance may be picked up in the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Bridgewater .  For more information concerning this program, please contact: Town Clerk’s Office at (508) 697-0921.

Special thanks to Ron Adams for his continued work for this program, and to the Bridgewater Fire Department for all of thier efforts
