| October 10, Other highlights from October 10 Bridgewater Selectmen Meeting
While the main topic for the Meeting was discussion of the $1.9M in funds for the new Regional High School, a few other issues were discussed earlier tonight. Bridgewater Public Safety Expo will be held on Tuesday October 17th. Presentation on TRIAD, the "Are you OK?" program, and other services. Contact Bridgewater Senior Center for more details. Bridgewater Academy Lions will be holding their annual tv auction on Sunday October 29, 5-10pm. The traffic light at Bedford and Winter Streets is moving along. Estimated documents for bid in late January 2007, followed by planned summer work, and completion in fall 2007. This is all predicated on state funding approval. The State announced CPA (Community Preservation Act) funds for 2006. Match for all communities was at 100%, and Bridgewater will receive $359,734. This week is National Fire Prevention Week.
