| September 15, B-R Teachers Assoc. to come to next B-R School Comm. Meeting
To clarify earlier statements made by some that the B-R School Committee refuses to meet with the Teachers Union to discuss "health and well-being" issues, an invitation was made at the 9/13 School Comm. Meeting to invite the BREA to address the full School Board at our 9/27 Meeting. The School Committee has an appointed Negotiating Team that has continued to keep the full Board updated on issues. As a practical matter, this is the way most discussions are handled - an appointed group to discuss on behalf of the larger membership. However, to spur the discusions, and allow the BREA to address the full School Committee, we have allocated a place on the September 27th agenda for the BREA. The meeting is scheduled for the B-R High School |
