July 24, Lance Armstrong captures 7th Tour de France Title

As the skies cleared in Paris, Lance Armstrong completed the 8th loop and rolled across the Finish Line in 118th place and part of the Peloton for the final stage.  His 7th consecutive first place finsh raises the bar on this annual cycling event.  Many in the crowds waved Texas flags, held signs of encouragement, and supported him as he cycled for the final time down the Avenue des Champ Elysses.
Not only has he conquered his illness, but he has set a new mark as the winningest person in Tour de France history.
