You can do something!
July 20, Final update on Bridgewater's 4th of July Festivities

On behalf of the entire Committee, the many individuals and businesses who made contributions of money or services/items, and the many in the community who participated, I would like to extend a hearty thank you.  The weather cooperated providing reasonably cool (especially in comparison to this week's weather) temperatures, and most everything went perfectly as planned.

The events and fund-raising allowed us to not only fund all of the festivities but to provide additional money to plan for 2006 and Bridgewater's 350th.  The hard work of many and the generous contributions culminated in a profit of about $7,000 - money which is allowing the Committee to already commit participants for next year and to begins all of the plans for next year.  Funds will still be needed, however by beginnning with this initial amount of funds allows us to commit much earlier in the process - guaranteeing an even better celebration next year and providing funds to financially support extra celebrations and events related to the Town's 350th.
A good job by all, and I look forward to seeing everyone next year.
