| June 7, Mining Organics withdraws petition for Site Plan Review - Bridgewater Planning Board 6/6/05
At last night's Bridgewater Planning Board Meeting, the Chair Stephen Elliott read a letter from Mining Organics dated June 2, 2005, indicating their desire to withdraw their petition for a Site Planning Review without prejudice. The Planning Board then voted to accept the withdrawal. So, at this point anyway, the project is no longer moving forward. However, the situation could change at a moment's notice with a re-file of the petition. Perhaps, to address this issue, the Town should consider an approach similar to what was done with adult entertainment -- to classify this type of business and then specify in what part of the Town this type of business could seek Planning Board approval. |
