The Commissioner of Education David Driscoll in his recent note on the currect state of affairs refers School Superintendents to a School Financial Advisory Report on Net School Spending (NSS). The report is on the DOE website, and can be found at this link. Some of the items that are included and cannot be included in NSS calculations are very interesting. Also, there are "Guidelines for Student and Financial Reporting".
