Last week's election in Westwood had three questions for overrides. The failure in Westwood is brought forth here only to demonstrate that these proposals are almost never successful. All three proposal lost by at least a 2 to 1 margin.
(a) $525,000 for municipal operations; lost 2,893 to 1,415
(b) $2.4M for schools; lost 2,943 to 1,371
(c) $1.5M for capital spending; lost 3,044 to 1,264
