You can do something!
March 4, Examining Education Systems: The Office of Educational Quality and Accountability

While reading through some information I received from one of the many lists I now belong to, I came across a resource that provides statistical information on the performance and progress of students across the State, by school system, and even by individual school.  Often, the metric utilized to assess schools and systems is the amount of money spent per student.  I believe that the metric should be how the students are truly performing, and NOT dollars based.
It is a State website, and I was pleased to see that it showed Bridgewater-Raynham doing well in overall perfomance and in making AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) towards national goals.

A good place to start might be the choice along the left-side for "Query Accountability Data".  You can specify a school system (say Bridgewater-Raynham) and a report (Cycle III Accountability) and learn that B-R is at a Moderate/High level for Perfomance, and On-Target for meeting AYP requirement.  Compare to Easton, that is High/Very High, but On-Target/Improved-But-Below-Target for its progress.  West Bridgewater scored similar to B-R.  East Bridgewater was at Moderate/High for Perfomance, but at No-change/Improved-But-Below-Target for its AYP.
