| January 4, Selectmen Allan Chiocca not to run for re-election in 2005 During the Selectmen's Comments section of the January 4th Meeting in Bridgewater, current Chair Allan Chiocca announced that he would not be seeking re-election this spring. He stated that he will still be involved in the community, but he could not commit to another three-year term right now. He did state that he may decide to run for a different office, or even to run for Selectmen in the future. Nomination Papers (if not yet available, will be shortly) are obtained from the Town Clerk's Office. Town Elections will be on Saturday April 23, 2005. Others whose seat will be up for election this spring: Assessors, Rose Bevis.. Board of Health, William Nicolas.. Planning Board, Fawn Sances.. Water and Sewer, Allan Knight.. Library Trustees, Carlton Hunt & Ursula Garfield & Carl Tisch.. Recreation, Thomas Arrighi.. Tree Warden, Ricky Ellis.. Bridgewater-Raynham School Committee, Mark Oliari (Bridgewater seat) & Linda Dillon (Raynham seat) & Melanie DeSantis (Raynham, 1 year seat). |
