January 4, Two situations in Bridgewater schools requiring Fire Department assistance

On Monday, January 3rd, at the Parish Center (used by Williams School), a smoke situation caused the evacuation of the school facility.  Fire Chief Roderick Walsh praised the staff and students of Williams for their orderly exit from the facility - just like as practiced in the fire drills.

Also on Monday evening (after school), a small fire was discovered in the new boiler room of the current B-R High School.  No damage or other concerns were reported.
