| January 4, Seven Bridgewater Firefighters Recognized during Selectmen Meeting During the Bridgewater Board of Selectmen Meeting on January 4th, Fire Chief Roderick Walsh and the Board of Selectmen honored seven Bridgewater Firefighters for their efforts in two recent incidents to save the lives of young children. A crew led by LT George W Rogers Jr, Firefighter TD Levy, Firefighter JJ Hennessey Jr, Firefighter CR Nedell, Firefighter DL Sweetman Jr. Two who assisted in a mutual aid call: Firefighter JP Micciantuono, Firefighter DA Santilli. It can be easy in tough financial times to reduce the budgets of the Public Safety Departments within the Town. However, when emergency help is needed and minutes matter, that is when the importance of a well-trained, well-equipped, and available personnel are most important. And the families of the two children, one four months and the other nine months, will forever be grateful. |
