| December 6, More details in Local Communities section - Annual spending by category Under the Local Communities section of this website, details are provided for five local communities - Bridgewater, Raynham, Easton, East Bridgewater and West Bridgewater. For each of the towns, I have now updated the spending for FY02 and FY03 (FY04 not yet available). The detail for each town shows the amount spent in each area, and the percentage of total budget allocated to that function. The numbers are 'official', in that they came from the MA Dept of Revenue. Note: (a) That Enterprise money is not included in the total for each town, and therefore does not figure into the percentage calculations. (b) That because of the way state Chapter 70 is accounted for, towns as part of a regional school system may have somewhat skewed numbers for percentage to education. |
