You can do something!
At 6:30 pm this evening, prior to our regular School Committee Meeting, an Executive Session was held for the purposes of discussing negotiations. Sue O'Brien and Mark Oliari (who because of a conflict of interest concern has not attended any recent Executive Sessions) were both absent. The members presentand voting: Patti Roland, Ursula Garfield, Louis Pacheco, Don Delutis, Linda Dillon, and myself.
As of May 2004, the School Committee Reorganization resulted in the Appointment of Delegates to the Negotiating Subcommittee: Patti Roland, Linda Dillon, Ursula Garfield, Donald DeLutis.
(This notation included so people know who worked on the contract from a 'management perspective'.)
I was the only member to not support the new teacher contract.
