| November 12, Comments from John Donahue - Selectman in Raynham
I received the following note from Mr. Donahue this morning, in response to my web posting on the Bridgewater Educational Study Committee (November 10 story). I will try to get our minutes posted on the town website. Great idea and I am glad the Bridgewater committee is doing it. Helps us to keep in mind what is being accomplished in each others community. I'll let you know what I find out after speaking to Randy Buckner, our TA and tech guru. Also, last week I publicly appealed to the District administration, in our public meeting (on air), to start the budget process early this year and open it to all that are interested. Hearings are warranted was my approach. I'll do it again Tuesday night....and again and again until someone listens. I am also trying to stress here in town that our Finance Committee needs to be more involved in the process. They are top notch, and will hold the District accountable, believe me. John Donahue John - I hope that you will be successful in working to publish the research being done by the Raynham Education Study Committee. I look forward to reading the meeting minutes and other reports created. Joseph Gillis Jr. |
