| August 18, Should there be discussions on the future of the Region? I still believe that there should be a discussion of the merits and deficiencies for Regional Schools. The study done in 2001 attempted to answer some of the issues, however some of the assumptions made are curious. Many will now ask for further details, so they will be posted here shortly - I need to retrieve them from some older files. However, the fact remains that the Region was formed more than 40 years ago, and extended to K-8 only 11 years ago. (By the way, the Bridgewater Town Meeting to vote on this was attended by 169 people.) Is this topic so dangerous that it cannot even be explored? |
