You can do something!
First was an unexpected trip to NY on business, and then a planned two-week vacation away from the Democratic Convention in Boston.
But, the news from the 7/31 election did fnd me on my cell phone late Saturday evening from a couple of sources. Was I ever shocked to hear of the defeat of the Tax by better than 2 to 1. (4030 to 1933)
And, to all of the emails (nearly 200 on my account and more than 1200 on my work account) and the phone calls, I will be responding as soon as possible.
It was never a plan to not update this site. However, to publish the fact that I was not going to update for an extended time only invited trouble. Do you publish something in the newspaper when you are going to be away from your house? In between the 2 trips I thought I would have the opportunity to go on-line, but I did not.
