| July 15, Just Vote NO It is as simple as that. If you have confidence in the plans for the funds, or if there are even plans for how the money will be used, then you might be inclined to vote yes. However, if like most of the community, if you continue to have concerns about how the money will be spent, then vote NO. The issue is as simple as that. As far as the prognostications of doom and gloom, ask who is saying this or that will happen. Do you believe that they know? Do you even know who is making the statements about 'automatic' repercussions? The people pushing the override - do they live in Bridgewater and thus have to pay the increased taxes ? - will they be directly or indirectly effected; in other words, are they or their spouse an employee ? - what is their motiviation for pushing for a TAX INCREASE ? |
