| June 14, There is a full-day of events scheduled for Bridgewater's 4th of July The day will begin with a parade at 11am, starting from Bridgewater State College's (BSC) Kelly Gym. Immediately after the parade (approx 12 noon), the Festival of the Arts will begin on BSC's Quad. This will continue until around 4pm. Beginning at 6pm, there will be music at Legion Field. And at 9:30pm, there will be a fireworks show also at Legion Field. Notes --- Parade: Beginnning at 11am instead of 10am since it is a Sunday. Start at Kelly Gym as usual, but there will not be parking there as that is the setup area. There will be prizes for best floats. There will also be prizes for the chiildren - best decorated bicyle and doll carriage. Evening Music and Fireworks: Because of the work being done at Williams Middle School, there will not be parking there, nor will there be pedestrian access across the property. Handicapped parking (by placard) will be available at Legion Field parking lot. |
