| April 20, Not so far off on my estimation that many teachers are averaging $73,000 per year The following are quotes from the April 20th Taunton Daily Gazette, by Superintendent Ron Gerhart: Those at the highest contractual "step" gross more than $73,000 a year. Fourty-four percent of B-R teachers are at the top step. I very seldom lose a good teacher because of salary. Well, Mr. Superintendent, with the highest paid teachers in the state two years in a row, why do you think that is? |
