You can do something!
Bridgewater and Raynham will be going to the election polls in one month. In both communities, voters will have an opportunity to choose one new representative from Bridgewater to serve on the B-R School Committee. This website is an example of what I would like to see more of from our School District. There is quite a lot of information posted here that you will not find on the School District's website.
I seek your vote and election to the School Committee because:
I will work to utilize successes from other school programs, and make them our successes.
An intelligent person knows to seek out experts, read what has worked well for them, and then adapt the knowledge to fit our situation.
I will be responsible to the students, parents, teachers and taxpayers of our communities.
Education is important, however, towns must balance the financial requirements of many other departments also. No one department is more important than another. It is imperative that we provide a strong education to the children, our future. However, we must be cognizant of the financial burden that it may place on many taxpayers in the community.
I will be proud to serve our two towns.
It will take hard work, and many nights, but I am doing this as an investment in our future - the children. I have a 4th grader and a Pre-K, so my children will be directly impacted by my efforts. While I have pondered private school for my children, I want to see public education made better for my two children, and all of the other children of our communities.
