| November 14, Pomroy Mgmt receives contract for $1.35M, starting Nov. 17th Word is quickly spreading that the 9-page decision from the MA Commission on Ethics, while spelling out a number of disclusures that must be made, has given it ok to this selection. This is very disturbing as Rick's selection seemed pre-ordained from the start. Also, his company was by far one of the weakest to submit a proposal. Beyond the actual out-of-pocket costs for hiring someone with no prior school managment experience, there is the possibility of future costs based on any mistakes the company may make. For those who think this is 'far-fetched', might I remind you of all of the problems surrounding BES, and the never-ending repairs requested by our School Committee! |
