September 18, Alternative Energy projects

The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative funds alternative energy studies and projects within the state, and funded by a small fee on utility bills.  A number of communities and schools systems have availed themselves of these funds.  Between the 30 acres set aside for the prison and extra space the the B-R School District just bought, wouldn't either of these sites be potentially good for study of alternative energy sources?
Especially with the College in town also - they have programs in Physics, Environmental Geography, Energy & Environmental Resource Mgmt.  Putting known technologies to use, schools in Whitman-Hanson, Plymouth, Pembroke, Falmouth & Brockton have received grants to study or implement environmentally-friendly sources of energy.  Surprisingly, B-R is not on the list --- or maybe NOT SURPRISINGLY!
