The MA State budget version that went from the MA Senate to the Governor appeared to allow communities like B-R and Easton to submit more than one Capital Project request. Bridgewater has had a split vote on the issue, with Town Meeting approving for a $25M complete renovation to the Williams facility, but the School Committee stating (because of the previous one school limit) to only do $5M in core repairs when the issue went to the ballot. Financing on $25M is obviously five times as expensive as $5M, so instead of $340 over the first ten years ($300k house), the effect of this piece alone would be $1700 - or $170/year. B-R School Superintendent has said he plans to review options with the School Committee and Building Sub-Committee.
