| Are all 63 projects ok for SBA now? Word out over the weekend is that one of the Senate budget riders would allow all 63 projects on preliminary list (including the $25M major renovation to Williams) to be able to be accepted by the SBA. So, what will the B-R School Committee do with Bridgewater's approved vote? Will they do their original plan of $25M in a complete renovation and addition, or the $5M in repairs? Over years 6-10, where the majority of financial impact will be felt, a $300k homeowner will see an increase of $3630 total for those five years ABOVE regular taxes. If all passes, and the Williams is done as a complete $25M, that same homeowner will see $4725 additional for that five year window - average $945/year with a peak of $1400/year. Over this past weekend (6/22/03), it was reported that all Easton school projects are going forward to the SBA. |
